Hi everyone,

You will have heard the NSW Premier Berejiklian announce Sunday 22nd March, 2020 that the state government will enforce a lockdown of non-essential services.  A number of essential services will continue to operate, including:

  • Food stores and supermarkets

  • Pharmacies and medical centres

  • Petrol Stations

  • Convenience stores

  • Banks

  • Logistics services

  • Food delivery services, including Box Divvy.

In other words: business as normal – whatever ‘normal’ is these days!
What else are we doing to maintain food security?

  • This week, all our Hubs will have devised a Plan B so that every Hubster has a back-up location and packer, in case a Hubster requires self-isolation.

  • All our staff in the packing shed, as well as drivers, have already undergone the Health Department’s Covid-19 Infection Control Training.  We have also asked all Hubsters to go through this module by this Tuesday 24th March.

  • We have also instituted hygiene and packing protocols with our Hubsters. This includes hand-washing and the washing-down of packing surfaces with soap/water and sanitiser before and after packing.

  • Social Distancing - Your Hubster will leave your order out, whilst some will ask you to text them on arrival.

How can you help?

  • Please make sure that your bags are clean before drop off – both the interior and handles.

  • Practice social distancing when you pick-up viz-a-viz your Hubster and other members.

  • For home delivery (if available): your Hubster will leave your order in a shady spot, and will text you when delivered.

Security of supply
Supply for most lines has now recovered.
If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to your Hubster.
